Art > Force of Nature 2016-2018

Parallels between natural specimens and man-made debris are investigated in this series of paintings. Bits of twine found on the beach are twisted together to form wreaths and other delicate arrangements. These intricate paintings of that which is left behind are paired with life forms that are found in the same area, including crabs, eels and other sea-life, an acknowledgement of our force on nature.
